I'm a photographer who believes in capturing moments that feel as real as they are beautiful. Whether it’s the laughter between loved ones, the quiet in-between moments, or the joyful chaos of a wedding day, my goal is to make every shoot fun, relaxed, and completely you.

Photography has always been a part of me. Growing up, I was the one insisting on “just one more picture” at every gathering, making sure memories lived beyond the moment. Now, behind the lens, I feel a deep sense of purpose in capturing life’s most precious memories with warmth, heart, and a little bit of magic.

When I’m not capturing love stories or golden-hour portraits, you’ll find me out in the sun, embracing the outdoors, coaching volleyball, or spending time with my biggest blessings—my husband (who doubles as my second shooter and videographer!), and our sweet daughter, Isabella (or “Isa” for short).

More than anything, I want you to feel comfortable, have fun, and leave your session with a full heart—because the best photos happen when you're simply being yourself. Let’s create something unforgettable together!​

What inspired you to become a photographer?
I was inspired to become a photographer because I love the way a single photo can capture a feeling or a moment forever.
What’s your favorite part about capturing life’s special moments?
I have always loved documenting every little moment in my life- big or small, candid or posed! I love being able to say “remember when” and pull out the pictures to show the moment I’m referring to. I want to be able to help people do the same for their lives. Whether it’s a newborn session, an 80th birthday party, wedding or engagement, or just because pictures; I want to be the person to provide those memories for you!
What do you love to do when you’re not behind the camera?
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually with my daughter and husband or out on the court coaching volleyball. Between family time and coaching, life stays full and fun!​
What should clients expect during a session with you?​
Clients can expect a relaxed, fun photo session with me. I love capturing natural, candid moments that truly reflect who you are. My goal is to make you feel comfortable and at ease, so we can create beautiful memories together. Whether it’s a family shoot, a couple session, or something else, I’ll guide you through every step to ensure you enjoy the experience and leave with photos that feel real and personal.

Do you offer guidance on posing and styling?
Absolutely! If you’re the kind of person that always says “what do I do with my hands”, when you’re taking pictures or you’re not sure what to wear, I’m your person! You will leave your photo session feeling confident as ever!​

Do you offer outfit or location recommendations for sessions?
Yes, I do offer outfit and location recommendations for sessions! I love helping my clients choose the perfect looks and spots that fit their style and vision for the shoot, ensuring everything comes together beautifully. But, I am always down to hear your favorite spots and outfit inspiration!

How do you approach capturing a couple’s unique love story?
As a wedding photographer, I approach capturing a couple’s unique love story by focusing on their connection and the little moments that make their relationship special. I take time to get to know them before the big day which helps me understand their personalities and how they interact. I aim to capture real, candid moments that reflect their journey together, creating images that are personal, meaningful, and truly represent their love.

Do you recommend an engagement session before the wedding?
I highly recommend doing an engagement session before the big day! It’s a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera and with me! Plus, it gives you a chance to capture some beautiful, relaxed moments before the big day.

How long does it take to receive wedding photos after the big day?
Typically, it takes about 6 to 8 weeks to receive your wedding photos. I take time to carefully edit and perfect each image to ensure you get the best quality. I’ll keep you updated along the way so you know when to expect them. I will also share a sneak peek gallery with you 3 to 5 days after your wedding day!

How long does it take to receive photos from my portrait session?
You should expect to receive your images within 2-3 weeks!

How will I receive my images?
When the countdown is over and the pictures are ready, you will receive an email with your digital gallery of professionally edited images aligned with the style of Haleigh Johnson Photography. These images are yours to print or share online, however, the photos should not be altered in any way from the original gallery. Please tag us in the post :)
